The Duke of Sussex has openly admitted he does not like the sport of football

Prince Archie is attending a British-themed football school located over an hour away from his home in Montecito, despite Prince Harry's feelings on the sport.

The six-year-old appeared on Meghan Markle's Instagram on Monday, wearing a red T-shirt that revealed the name of his football school.

Archie's red shirt bore the logo of "GB Soccer School", a training centre in Studio City, California, around 70 miles from Montecito.

The camp later hinted Archie was among its pupils by reposting Meghan’s post with a smiling emoji and a football.

According to its website, the school runs group lessons for children aged two to 10, along with private sessions and summer camps.

Parents must remain with their children throughout, meaning Harry or Meghan likely will attend each class with Archie.

Sessions are split into three categories, Parent & Me, Open Classes, and Skills Clinic, with prices ranging from £238 ($320) for a 45-minute class to nearly £270 ($360) for an hour-long session.

With each course running for eight weeks, the couple are paying between £1,900 ($2,560) and £2,148 ($2,880).

Private coaching costs £186 ($250) per lesson, with a minimum of eight sessions required.

Archie also appears to be part of the school’s Just Play League for children born in 2019.

Meghan’s photos showed him wearing a number 10 jersey, suggesting he competes in team matches.

Archie's enthusiasm for the sport comes after his father, Prince Harry, revealed in March at the Upfront Summit that he has "never really been a big fan of soccer [football]", despite confirming his allegiance to Arsenal as recently as 2017.

In addition, the Sussexes’ 2020 Netflix docuseries included a moment of Harry kicking a ball while carrying Archie on his shoulders in the garden of their home.

Prince Archie is also enrolled at Surf Happens, a Santa Barbara surf camp. A video shared by the school showed him in an orange T-shirt and wetsuit taking part in a talent show, watched by Harry and Meghan, while Lilibet stood beside her mother.

Meghan’s latest Instagram post came after the second season of "With Love, Meghan" was met with mixed reviews.

Her Labour Day Instagram post featured her longtime makeup artist, Daniel Martin, as well as a picture with chef Clare Smyth, who catered the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding.
