Prince William and Princess Kate have played a “hugely influential” role in the bombshell move to strip Prince Andrew of his Royal titles.
Discussing the dramatic decision, political commentator Emma Woolf suggested that the Prince of Wales played a larger role in the move than originally let on.
“I actually think William and Kate have been really quite influential in this whole decision. I think they get it,” Ms Woolf speculated, speaking with GB News hosts Stephen Dixon and Anne Diamond.
It comes just as the future King is believed to be toying with the idea of imposing a potential ban on his uncle from attending his coronation when he ascends to the throne.

“William and Kate - they are of the age who completely get it on how unacceptable abuse is and how victims should be listened to, and how mental health has changed completely.
“If you look at the difference between Charles's generation, unfortunately, I think the King just feels this is terrible. You know, can this whole thing just go away?
“Whereas I think William and Kate really get it.”
The tougher stance towards his uncle will also include a more general ban on royal events altogether, cracking the whip much harder than his father, The Times has reported.

The 43-year-old was said to be "consulted" on the decision to firmly de-Duke the King's brother.
The ban will exile the disgraced Prince from public and private events, as well as the majority of state occasions.
The same will apply to Sarah Ferguson, whose Duchess of York title was removed on Friday, just a month after it was revealed that she had sent an email to Jeffrey Epstein saying sorry for publicly denouncing him.
She had further insisted that he was her "supreme friend".
PRINCE ANDREW LATEST:
Sarah Ferguson has been said to "always support" her former husband, Prince Andrew, while he gave up his royal titles.
The 66-year-old will also no longer be able to use her title of Duchess of York following intense public scrutiny on the pair regarding their former relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
In a Buckingham Palace statement, Prince Andrew announced he would "put my duty to my family and country first" and give up the use of his ducal title amid "continued accusations" against him.
Sarah Ferguson, known as Fergie, married Andrew in 1986 and shares two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Last Friday, further damning reports revealed that Prince Andrew sought assistance from the Metropolitan Police, as well as one of Queen Elizabeth's top aides, in an attempt to smear Virginia Giuffre.
The email, revealed by The Mail on Sunday, showed the Epstein associate requesting the taxpayer-funded police officer to snoop around Ms Giuffre, handing over her date of birth and social security number.
He had also reached out to Ed Perkins to do the same, who served as the late Queen's deputy press secretary, just hours before the Mail splashed the image of the Prince with Ms Giuffre.
Ms Giuffre's bombshell book will be released on Monday posthumously, after she took her own life in Australia earlier this year.
