The show, titled 'By Royal Appointment', began its four-night run on Tuesday

Prince Andrew's future has been predicted in a new stage show, performed at London's Richmond Theatre in the West End.

The show, titled "By Royal Appointment", began its four-night run on Tuesday and is inspired by the late Queen Elizabeth II's relationship with her personal dresser, Angela Kelly.

Daisy Goodwin, the creator of ITV's Victoria, wrote the successful play, beginning with then-Prince Charles's investiture as Prince of Wales in 1969, and continuing up to the present day.

In addition, the show predicted what would happen to the Duke of York in 2026, which left the audience in stitches.

After confirming the late monarch had died in the year 2022, the narrator jumped back on stage to give the Prince Andrew update.

He said: "The Duke of York has signed up for I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here."

The audience burst out laughing, prompting the narrator to pause before making the other predictions.

Prince Andrew entering the jungle would not be too unusual, given the fact that Mike Tindall, Princess Anne's son-in-law, came fourth in the reality show back in 2022.

In addition, Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's butler, was the runner-up in the fourth series of I'm A Celeb.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Jennie Bond came second behind Kerry Katona in 2004.

Prince Andrew, 65, is currently spending the majority of his time at Royal Lodge, located in Windsor Great Park.

The Queen Mother previously lived at Royal Lodge, with the Duke of York moving into the property in 2003.

In 2008, Andrew's former wife, Sarah, Duchess of York, moved into Royal Lodge, again sharing a house with the Duke of York.

The couple, who share daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, separated in 1992 and later divorced in 1996.

When living in the UK, Fergie stays in the Windsor residence with her ex-husband, with whom she remains on great terms.

On Easter Sunday in April, the Duke and Duchess of York attended a church service side-by-side at St George's Chapel, also attended by King Charles and Queen Camilla.
