Prince Andrew's ex-girlfriend discusses 'pain' Beatrice and Eugenie suffered as scandal unfolded

A former girlfriend of Prince Andrew spoke exclusively to GB News about the "pain and distress" Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie likely experienced as a result of the recent legal case against their father.
In a US civil case, the Duke of York was accused by Virginia Giuffre of sexually abusing her on three occasions when she was 17-years-old.
Lady Victoria Hervey, who briefly dated the Duke of York in 1999, would socialise with Prince Andrew and convicted sex offenders Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in the early 2000s.
When asked about the impact that the Duke of York's scandals have had on his daughters, Hervey exclusively told GB News: "I can only imagine the pain and distress it must have caused since they are a very close family."

Princess Beatrice, 35, and Princess Eugenie, 33, have never openly discussed the allegations against their father.
But a family friend told the Telegraph: “It’s been very difficult for them.
"I don’t think anyone has ever properly appreciated how hard it is for any child to have that level of scrutiny and exposure.
"But they have their own children now, so the family unit is more dispersed than it was.”

Hervey has always been a staunch defender of Prince Andrew against Giuffre's accusations.
In an interview with BBC Newsnight in 2019, the Duke of York stressed that he had no recollection of ever meeting Giuffre, and has repeatedly denied the allegations.
In February 2022, Giuffre and the prince reached an out-of-court settlement for an undisclosed amount, including no admission of guilt on the claims against the Duke of York.
Dubbed an "It Girl" during her modelling career in the 1990s, the 46-year-old appeared in the documentary Ghislaine, Prince Andrew And The Paedophile last year.

In the documentary, Prince Andrew's ex-girlfriend claimed she was used by Maxwell to “find however many girls were needed” to entertain Epstein.
Hervey was born in 1976 and is the eldest child of the 6th Marquess of Bristol and his third wife Yvonne, Marchioness of Bristol.
The socialite now lives in Los Angeles and has appeared on many reality TV programmes, including Love Island in 2006.
