Meghan Markle is often leaving projects unfinished as she is "anxious" to do well, a royal author has claimed.

Angela Levin joined Mark Dolan on GBN America to analyse the Duchess’s latest moves, with her new lifestyle brand being the highlight.

The soft launch of American Riviera Orchard is not the only thing Meghan has been focusing on with a new podcast also in the offing.

But it is reported that delays are being experienced and Levin believes this can be explained by her desire to do “phenomenally well”.

“The company have put off what they were going to do with Meghan, which is podcasts with another whole load of famous people”, Levin said on GBN America.

“Meghan is now doing this for Netflix, and they don’t want to clash.

“That’s very interesting because it means that she wasn’t going to be loyal to them. Whatever comes up, she’s grabbed this and they’ve decided to put it off for at least a year.

“It’s a small company and they’ve asked for people to support them with money and I don’t think that has come up yet, so they’re not going to do it.

“It’s always starting things and not really finishing them. They were going to move to a different part of America and nothing has come of it. She starts things and doesn’t continue.

“She’s so anxious to do phenomenally well.”

In February, Meghan announced a new podcast deal with Lemonada to “continue her love of podcasting”.

The Duchess, along with Harry, had a $20 million (£15 million) Spotify contract but it collapsed after one series of Archetypes.

Now according to the Mail, Meghan’s new choice of podcast company is “struggling to get off the starting blocks”.

Richard Eden said the company does not want the launch of the podcast to be overshadowed by her new television series, due to be released on Netflix.

When Meghan announced her new deal she stated: "Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.

"Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast is well in the works."
