The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down

Meghan Markle will not return to the Royal Family as the grudge between the Duchess of Sussex and Princess Kate remains, according to a royal commentator.

Andrew Morton said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have built their lives in the US and are unlikely to return to the UK.

When asked about the possibility of a Sussex return to the Royal Family fold, Morton replied: "What, and have Meghan curtsying to Kate? I don’t think so.

"I don’t see that as a runner. They’ve got their own lives in California."

Prince Harry and Meghan are not expected to hold peace talks with the Royal Family this week.

The Duke of Sussex is set to return to the UK on Thursday to attend a charity award ceremony.

However, an insider has claimed the Sussexes will not hold peace talks with the Royal Family as "they are done with their former lives".

Prince Harry is expected to ramp up the promotion of his most recent Netflix project 'Heart of Invictus'.

The documentary that followed the 2022 Invictus Games that were hosted in the Netherlands was released on August 30.

Harry and Meghan will not discuss the Royal Family during upcoming interviews and public appearances, according to an insider.

The Sussexes also do not expect any members of the Royal Family to come to the 2023 Invictus Games next week.

The insider told the Telegraph: "They’re not talking about family.

"There’s no expectation that the family’s going to show up or acknowledge it or that anybody wants to see him. It’s over."

It comes as a friend of Kate and William stated that the couple are nervous that a public attack on the Royal Family from Harry could overshadow the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death.

The source told The Daily Beast: "Harry is going to want people to watch the show.

"Of course that makes them nervous because William has seen how ruthless Harry has been about betraying his family to promote his projects so far.

"They just won’t want the dignity of the day to be overshadowed by another outburst."
