The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched a new website yesterday to replace their old platform

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry failed to mention the Royal Family across 950 words listing their achievements on their new website.

Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched a new platform in a major rebrand for the couple.

They named their website Sussex.com in connection with their royal title.

Meghan’s 588-word biography reveals the duchess’s advocacy for gender equality and human rights.

It also details Meghan’s childhood in Southern California, her high school experience and her education in Theatre and International Relations.

The website states: “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex is a feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity.”

Amongst her charity work, Meghan’s experience in the entertainment industry is also referenced.

The website describes her work for the series Suits, her publications and her lifestyle website, The Tig.

Although the couple are not working members of the British Royal Family, Harry is still a prince and fifth in line to the throne.

The couple have kept their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles and used them for their personal website, despite not mentioning the Royal Family.

Harry and Meghan’s children have also inherited royal titles and became Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex when Charles became King.

The duke’s 338-word biography details his time in the armed forces and his dedication to supporting veterans through the Invictus Games Foundation.

It states: “Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is a humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate and environmental campaigner.

“He has dedicated his adult life to advancing causes that he is passionate about and that advance permanent change for people and places.”

Following the release of their new platform, there has been backlash over the use of Sussex in their website title when they are no longer working members of the Royal Family.

However, a source close to the Sussexes told the Mail: “Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“That is a fact. It is their surname and family name.”
