Meghan Markle showed off her new “chestnut chocolate brunette” hair during a Winter trip to Canada with Prince Harry.
The duchess looked radiant during her trip to Whistler, Vancouver last week with bouncing, glowing hair and natural, dewy make-up.
Meghan’s hair colourist, Kadi Lee, took to Instagram to reveal the details behind the duchess’s subtle hair transformation.
Kadi Lee co-owns the beauty and wellness studio, Highbrow Hippie, in California and is known for her work with Julia Roberts, Kristin Davis and Amber Valletta.

The duchess had her hair coloured by Lee and got the “bounciest, long lasting blowout” by her colleague Hector.
Lee posted on Instagram: “Chocolate chestnut brunette, for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex for Invictus Games.”
Harry and Meghan travelled to Canada for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go festivities last week.
The hairdresser explained how she styled Meghan’s hair: “This mixture of red and golden undertones makes a dynamic shade of brunette that not only gives skin the healthiest glow, especially during the colder months of winter, it also provides the hair with a next level high power shine.”

During the three-day trip to Canada, Meghan wore her hair in several different styles; to keep warm on the slopes the duchess wore her long hair down with bouncy curls and a warm black bobble beanie.
During a wheelchair curling demonstration at Hillcrest Community Centre the duchess pulled her hair into a side ponytail as she spoke with Michael Bublé on the sidelines.
On the final night Meghan opted for an elegant style with her hair pulled into a low bun and a side parting for the One Year to Go Dinner.
Meghan’s winter look is a slight change from her hairstyle at the end of last year.

In November, Lee took to Instagram to describe the duchess’s “shiny rich chocolate brown” hair alongside a picture of Meghan in a low chic bun.
Lee said: “Classic, shiny rich chocolate brown, for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex for last evening’s Variety of Power of Women event.”
Fans took to social media to compliment the duchess on her new style. One user gushed: “This colour matched perfectly with the Duchess of Sussex Meghan, it brought luminosity to her beautiful face.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex told PEOPLE: “We loved being back in Canada, a place so meaningful to both of us.”
