The duchess's gardening theme comes less than two weeks after her sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales, released the first of her Mother Nature video series focusing on spring.

In her video, Catherine urged society to "reconnect to nature and celebrate a new dawn within our hearts" as she also celebrated the changing seasons.

The timing creates an interesting parallel between the two royal women, with both drawing inspiration from nature and seasonal changes in their recent public projects.
