The Lover's Knot tiara adorning the figure has a special history, having been worn by Princess Diana's waxwork in the 1980s.
The royal ensemble is completed with a replica Royal Victorian Order blue sash, Royal Family Order of QEII and Greville Diamond Chandelier earrings, creating a faithful recreation of Catherine's appearance at the December diplomatic event.
Prince William's waxwork has also received an outfit change, now dressed in a black tuxedo by Ede and Ravenscroft, a tailor with historic connections to the Royal Family.
His ensemble features a white bow-tie complementing his wife's reception gown, along with replicas of his sash and star of the Order of the Garter, and copies of his army medals.

Steve Blackburn of Madame Tussauds London expressed his delight at the new installation, saying: "We are delighted that a new figure of the much-loved Catherine, Princess of Wales, has officially landed in the Royal Palace Experience at our attraction in the heart of London, continuing our centuries-long work with the Royal Family."
He added that Kate had been "majestically crafted by our talented studio team" and "sculpted to ensure her resemblance is fit for a future queen, alongside her dashing husband."

This marks a change from previous displays, as waxwork versions of Prince Harry and Meghan were included with models of working royals in the throne room during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
While Prince Harry remained in the royal display for the King's Coronation the following year, Meghan was moved to the Hollywood area at that time.
