Meghan Markle's former best friend reacted as the Duchess of Sussex's new pal joked about meeting Prince Harry.
The Office star Mindy Kaling joked that she "met her friend's husband at a work event" after posing with the Duke of Sussex during a "life coaching" event in San Francisco.
The actress, also known for The Mindy Project, smiled with the Duke of Sussex at the Uplift summit held by BetterUp, for whom Harry is the Chief Impact Officer.
She also referred to Harry's memoir Spare, saying: "Met my friend's husband at a work event.

"Seemed pretty cool. Said he wrote a book. Gonna go check it out!"
Harry's picture with Kaling came 18 months after the actress appeared on Meghan's Spotify podcast Archetypes.
This was before the show got axed in June 2023 after one series was produced.
Meghan's estranged friend Jessica Mulroney responded to Kaling's post on Instagram with a love heart emoji.
Mulroney became friends with Meghan while she was filming Suits in Toronto.
The fashion stylist regularly spoke out in support of her. However, in June 2020 they were thought to have fallen out.
Mulroney lost two TV jobs after a row with blogger Sasha Exeter who accused her of using "wealth and privilege" to silence her in a row over posts linked to the Black Lives Matter movement.
The designer, whose three children had roles at Meghan's wedding in 2018, apologised for her behaviour.

But she later denied any falling out and said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remained "family".
Mulroney's late father-in-law was Brian Mulroney, the former Prime Minister of Canada.
She was said to have become inseparable from Meghan after meeting the future duchess on the Toronto entertainment scene.
They were so close that Meghan FaceTimed the stylist just before Prince Harry proposed.
