Meghan’s plotting of a new venture also comes as she and her husband Prince Harry have undergone a major shakeup of their staff structure.
In an attempt to mimic the hierarchical arrangement of the British royal household, the couple have hired two separate chiefs of staff to manage their affairs over informal advisors.
Meghan has enlisted Sarah Fosmo, a former aid of Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates.
The 45-year-old's appointment was announced this month, and she will oversee what has been described as a "dynamic period of growth" for the duchess.

She has been with the Sussexes since 2022 and successfully managed their three-day trip to Nigeria last year, which was reportedly "controlled skilfully".
Heading up the operation will be Meredith Kendall Maines, a veteran communications expert, who will lead a team of 11 staff operating out of Montecito, California, and the UK.
Her new role has been compared to that of Sir Clive Alderton, the Private Secretary to King Charles and Queen Camilla.

A source said: "Harry is unkindly described as the 'spare' to Meghan's endeavours.
"In reality, he has been giving her the space to flourish. Now it is his time to throw himself into exciting new work.
