Meghan Markle "took Prince Harry's spotlight moment" with the launch of her latest project, royal biographer Angela Levin has claimed
The Duchess of Sussex recently launched her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, just hours before her husband Prince Harry was due to speak at the Princess Diana Legacy Awards.
Speaking to GBN America, Angela Levin said the move by the Duchess was "very cruel" and the Diana Awards was a charity "set up in respect of her passing" and helps to "give back to young people".
The couple further overshadowed the awards ceremony in London as the Sussexes also revealed the winner of their $100,000 NAACP – Archewell Foundation Digital Civil Rights Award.

In a video shared on the Archewell Foundation website, Meghan and Harry personally delivered the news to winner Dr Joy Buolamwini.
In a discussion with Levin, host Nana Akua argued that the timing of Meghan's lifestyle brand launch could have been "well timed", as Prince Harry was "already in the spotlight" after virtually appearing at the Diana Awards.
Levin disagreed and said in comparison of Harry and Meghan, the Duke of Sussex is "out the door when it comes to who is in the spotlight".
The royal biographer also revealed that those involved in Prince Harry's Invictus Games feel Meghan is "taking over" the event.

Levin has hit out at the Duchess's "extraordinary attitude" towards the Invictus Games, ahead of her possible return to the UK for an anniversary event in May.

She claimed those training in Canada, where next year's event is being held, have asked how they can "stop the games from going ahead".
Levin fumed: "She comes over, she does a speech, she does a second speech, she leads people down the paths and the winners, and they say she knows nothing about fighting and going in wars.
"It was Harry's job, and I think they feel quite sorry for him. They're angry."
Levin then noted that the Invictus Games could possibly be held in the UK in 2027, which would prove "difficult" for the Duke and the Royal Family.

Nana claimed that if the next Invictus Games were to be held in Birmingham, it may "actually unite the Royal Family and bring them together, because the family are now together", but swiped: "Maybe they'll talk to each other - but who wants to go to Birmingham?!"
Levin told GBN America: "I don't think Harry's got anything to look forward to, really. If this happens in the UK, it's going to be very, very difficult for the Royal Family.
"I think it's an extraordinary attitude that Meghan has, she thinks she's better than everyone. She thinks of herself as globally famous.
"They've got a bit of money, but they haven't got much money to pay for it. The money's not there."
