Meghan Markle has admitted she “doesn’t like baking” in the second season of her Netflix lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, which launched today.
The eight-part series featured celebrity guests including Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and television personality Tan France.
Meghan was seen baking several times, making sourdough for Ms Teigen and using ready-made puff pastry to recreate McDonald’s apple pies with Mr France.
However, she told chef Christina Tosi: “Usually, I don’t like baking because it’s so measured.”

Meghan's As Ever lifestyle range, launched in March, includes shortbread cookie and crepe mixes with pre-measured ingredients, despite her admission that she does not enjoy baking.
Preparing her apple pies, Meghan said: “Let’s get our puff pastry ready. We’re going to use pre-made, good puff pastry as opposed to making our dough from scratch.”
She later added: “I love the idea of being able to rethink baking to be just a little more spontaneous.”
The Duchess also opened up about her relationship with Prince Harry. She revealed that it was Harry who said “I love you” first and that she realised she was falling in love with him during their third date, a safari in Botswana.

“We met in Botswana, and we camped for five days together. You really get to know each other when you’re in a little tent together."
Mr France asked who declared their feelings first, and Meghan replied: “He told me.” Mr France told her: “You’re starting to blush,” to which Meghan smiled: “She’s still got it.”
In another scene, Mr France asked what she sprinkled on her French toast. Meghan replied: “Flower sprinkles. I love them.” Mr France hesitates, then said: “Wow. That’s the gayest s*** I’ve seen in a long time.”
Meghan also spoke about her family life in California. In episode three, she said the longest she had been apart from Archie and Lilibet was nearly three weeks. “I was not well,” she admitted.

The release of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series has clashed with the Duke of Gloucester’s birthday
| NETFLIXThe comment sparked speculation she was referring to the period following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, when she and Harry remained in the UK while their children stayed in California with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
Elsewhere in the series, Meghan told viewers she makes breakfast most mornings for her children, including pancakes with ground flax seeds or chia seeds.
“Lili will ask, ‘Can I have my chia seeds? I want to have freckles.’” She described Archie as “the most tender, sweet child of all time” and said both children “really want a cat.”
Although Prince Harry and the children visited the set during filming, none of them appeared in the series. Harry made a brief cameo at the end of season one, but season two focused entirely on Meghan and her guests.
