Meghan Markle has shared how she makes breakfast "over the holidays" in a video for her lifestyle brand titled: "Easy morning hosting with As Ever".

The Duchess of Sussex revealed how she prepares for having people around and a "favourite" in the Sussex household.

Meghan, 44, opened up the video by eloquently describing the concept of a buffet, saying: "What I like to do when I have guests over for the holidays, especially when you have a lot of people and everyone has a different preference for breakfast, just create stations so that they can help themselves."

The mother of two showed off a pair of glass jam holders, which she purchased from "a vintage store".

The duchess used As Ever's strawberry and raspberry jam to jazz up her "yoghurt parfait station".

Rather than just using "a normal bowl", the 44-year-old used a glass to "make it a little more special".

She continued: "All of this is great for kids. If you don't wanna make pancakes, don't make pancakes, just get the ones in the freezer section.

As she cut up some raspberries and blueberries, Meghan explained: "I like having some of the fruits whole and the rest sliced in half, it looks so much cuter."

After the pancakes, Meghan revealed that the strawberry and raspberry jam is a "favourite" in the duchess's house.

Her fruit spread trio of raspberry, orange marmalade and strawberry jam is available on the As Ever store for $36 (£27.50).

The Suits star added: "My favourite thing for breakfast in a large group is having quiche. Again, [purchase from a] grocery store or make it yourself.

"You can leave it out if you know people are gonna wake up, right around now; otherwise, I would just write a little note saying 'Morning, help yourselves, quiche is in the oven'."

Meghan concluded the video saying: "We are just presenting it in a way that looks a little bit more enticing and people can wake up in the morning and feel cared for, which I think is half of the joy of the holiday."

The duchess's promotion came as she was in hysterics, revealed by behind-the-scenes footage of a recent photoshoot.

The 44-year-old appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's winter edition, with Meghan speaking to journalist Kaitlyn Greenidge from the publication.

Meghan reposted the behind-the-scenes from the photoshoot on her Instagram stories.

In one clip, the duchess is in fits of laughter as she sits on the floor posing in a white, button-down shirt.

The duchess captioned the video: "Behind the shot", promoting the work by the publication's Editor-in-Chief, Samira Nasr, who also appears in the clip.

The 44-year-old tagged Ms Nasr in the post, writing: "And a visit from this gem".

The Editor-in-Chief responded: "My endless gratitude to everyone who was on set."
