Meghan Markle has partnered with a new fashion AI venture during her tour of Australia with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, jetted Down Under with the Duke of Sussex, 41, on Tuesday, as they embarked on a four-day tour across the continent.

While Harry was busy speaking at a public event in Melbourne, laying a wreath at a war memorial in Canberra and attending a reception for Invictus Australia, Meghan was absent from all engagements.

She was instead pursuing personal business interests, though she is expected to rejoin her husband in Melbourne tomorrow, before the couple jet off to Sydney for the final day of the tour.

While absent from official engagements, it was announced the Duchess of Sussex had joined AI fashion discovery platform OneOff as a participant and investor.

The platform aims to simplify the online shopping experience by providing personalised fashion recommendations based on the user's preferences and history.

It also allows participants to follow their favourite celebrities, who curate and share their own styles, giving users access to break down each outfit and buy directly themselves.

This feature has already been used by the duchess during her tour in Australia, when the couple visited Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital on Tuesday.

Meghan wore an ink navy Priscilla dress by Australian designer Karen Gee, priced at $1,250 (£655), with Puffy Hearts earrings by Real Fine Studio costing $780 (£575) and leather pumps by Christian Dior, at $120 (£88.50).

A press release confirmed she had "personally selected" pieces from the designer's collection for the week's engagements.

Her personal page is now live on the new AI tool, giving fans deeper insight into each look.

The brand explained that Meghan, along with other figures such as Emma Roberts and Kate Hudson, joined the app due to its global reach.

"She cares about fashion and was motivated to invest not only to expand her portfolio, but to help uplift the fashion designers she is a fan of," the press release detailed.

Following the couple's trip to the hospital, Meghan stepped out for a solo visit to a homeless services facility for women in Melbourne, where she donned an apron and dished up frittata to those using the centre.

The duchess also later switched into a suede skirt and jacket combination from St. Agni, another Australian label.

Later in the tour, the mother-of-two is set to appear at a three-day wellness gathering organised by the "Her Best Life" podcast.
