Princess Anne "kicked a friend in the shins" while dancing, royal commentator Lady C has claimed.
The commentator shared the hilarious story with Nana Akua on GBN America as she spoke about the Princess's passion for dancing.
Lady C said: "I know she's actually a rather good dancer, because one of my greatest friends and she both had the same interest in a man about 50 years ago, and they were dancing in Scotland and Princess Anne took the opportunity to kick my friend in her shins."
A shocked Nana Akua responded: "That is the sort of thing I would expect from Meghan Markle."
The pair were talking about the Princess Royals' sense of rhythm amid calls for her to consider a spot on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
Lady C believes the princess would be "a howling success" if she decided to participate in the dance contest.
She said: "I think Princess Anne would actually be wonderful on Strictly because she's very athletic, very agile and very nimble.
"I'm not sure it would be the right thing for the image of the monarchy to have her [on the show].
"I think it would be a little bit too populistic in my view. But you know, I could be proven wrong very easily if she did it. I'm sure she would be a howling success."
Lady Colin Campbell later added: "I think if she entered, she would most likely win. Unless she were an absolutely hopeless dancer because she would have such a groundswell of support and such goodwill."

Princess Anne is not the only royal who loves the show as both Queen Camilla and Princess Catherine are also reported to hold an interest.
Queen Camilla is said to have offered to host an episode of the programme at Buckingham Palace.
Speaking on the Royal Family’s love for Strictly professional dancer and Strictly star Nadiya Bychkova told The Sun: “They love it, and they watch it all the time.
“Whenever you see royals at events, they all know what’s going on.”
Bychkova, 34, who was born in Soviet Ukraine, added: “I’m not from this country so I don’t know all the royal etiquette.
"You learn through situations, and I just try to be (as) respectful as I can when I meet the royals.
“It just blows your mind to think how big this show is.
