The Duke of Sussex has ruled out bringing his children to the UK after a fresh setback in his security battle

Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie look set to miss out on forming a bond with their cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis after Prince Harry ruled out bringing his children to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex lost a legal challenge concerning the level of protection he and his family would receive while visiting Britain on Friday.

Following the announcement that his appeal had been dismissed, Harry told the BBC: "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point."

Lilibet and Archie are also unlikely to be able to form a strong relationship with their grandfather King Charles as Harry revealed he is not on speaking terms with the monarch.

Prince Harry also stated that he fears some royals will never forgive him amid his ongoing feud with Princess Kate and Prince William.

The Duke of Sussex expressed his desire for reconciliation with the Royal Family in an emotional interview following his legal defeat over security arrangements in the UK.

The legal battle has been ongoing for five years, with Harry describing it as "the sticking point" and "the only thing that's left" in the disagreements with his family.

Harry took public swipes at senior royals including Princess Kate, Prince William and Queen Camilla in his 2023 autobiography "Spare".

Since the release of the book the Prince and Princess of Wales have cut contact with Harry.

The Duke acknowledged the lasting impact of his memoir on family relations.

"Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book, of course they will never forgive me for lots of things," he said.

Despite these tensions, Harry emphasised his desire to heal the rift with his family.

"I would love reconciliation with my family there's no point in continuing to fight anymore, as I said life is precious," he said.

Prince Harry stated he had "forgiven" his family members.

In the same interview, Prince Harry revealed that King Charles refuses to speak with him "because of this security stuff".

The Duke also made an emotional reference to his father's health, saying he does not know how long King Charles has left to live after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer in 2024.
