Lady Louise Windsor is preparing to begin her fourth and final year at St Andrews as her next steps remain unknown.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh's 21-year-old daughter has been studying for an English degree at the prestigious Scottish university since 2022.
Lady Louise has embraced a quiet university life, deliberately maintaining a low profile and avoiding unwanted attention.
However, this has not stopped the young royal from immersing herself in extracurricular activities during her education.

She joined the St Andrews University Officers' Training Corps, where she has received basic weapons training and leadership lessons.
The royal has also participated in several student productions during her time at university.
However, it remains to be seen what course the 21-year-old will take when she moves on from the Fife institution.
St Andrews holds royal significance as the institution where the Prince and Princess of Wales met in 2001.

However, unlike her cousin who will one day inherit the throne, Lady Louise has considerably more options regarding her future.
In a previous LinkedIn post, a career networking site, the young royal had expressed an interest in pursuing a career in the military, diplomacy or law.
Whether this would require further postgraduate studies remains to be seen.
If Lady Louise was to pursue a career in the armed forces, she would be the first female royal to serve since her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

As a then 18-year-old Princess Elizabeth, the former monarch served as a mechanic during the Second World War.
On the male side of the family, military service has proved far more common.
Lady Louise’s father, Prince Edward, was a University Cadet in the Royal Marines for three years.
The Duke of Edinburgh completed one-third of his 12-month commando course before deciding to follow a career in theatre and television production in 1987.

King Charles, as Prince of Wales, underwent tours with the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy from 1971 to 1976.
In more recent times, Prince William graduated from the Royal Air Force College Cranwell and joined the RAF Search and Rescue Force in early 2009.
He would go on to become a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance for two years.
Prince Harry undertook two tours of Afghanistan and qualified as an Apache helicopter gunship Commander, rising to the rank of Captain.
