Royal insiders have disclosed that safeguarding Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie represents rare common ground between King Charles and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Despite their strained relationship, both men share deep affection for Andrew's daughters and believe they deserve protection from parental scandals.
"It is, perhaps, one of the few things that His Majesty and Andrew agree on," a royal source revealed to the Mail.
"They both love Beatrice and Eugenie and want the best for them. They also agree that the princesses can play an important, helpful role in public life."
