King Charles has posted a Father's Day message on social media that appeared to include a nod to his estranged son Prince Harry, who now lives in California.
The 76-year-old monarch shared an Instagram post on Sunday wishing "all Dads everywhere" a happy Father's Day, accompanied by a vintage black-and-white photograph of Prince Philip with a young Charles and Princess Anne.
The inclusive phrasing seemed to reference Prince Harry, 40, who relocated to America with his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, after stepping back from royal duties.
The message comes weeks after Harry expressed his desire for reconciliation with his family during a BBC interview in May.

The King wrote alongside the photograph: "To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father's Day today."
The carefully chosen words appeared to acknowledge fathers across the globe, including his younger son residing in Montecito.
The post also included a picture of Queen Camilla pictured with her late father, Major Bruce Shand, on her wedding day.
Relations between the Sussexes and the Royal Family have been strained since Harry and Meghan relinquished their royal responsibilities.

The timing of the message proved significant, arriving just weeks after Harry publicly discussed hopes for family reconciliation.
Harry and his wife, former Suits actress Meghan, 43, departed from royal duties five years ago to establish a new life in Los Angeles. The couple, who married in 2018, are parents to Prince Archie, six, and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.
Since their move to California, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have pursued independent ventures, including founding the Archewell Foundation and securing a partnership with Netflix.
Their departure from royal life has created distance between Harry and his family, with the prince becoming somewhat estranged from his father and brother.

The geographical separation has meant limited contact between Charles and his youngest son's family.
During his BBC interview in May, Harry stated: "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious."
However, the prince expressed concerns about returning to Britain with his family, citing security fears. He explained: "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point."
Harry also revealed his sadness about being unable to share his homeland with his children, saying: "I miss parts of the UK, of course I do. And I think that it's really quite sad that I won't be able to show, you know, my children."
