Catherine and Prince William are “very concerned” about King Charles’s health as the monarch has been left “drained” following the arrest of his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Prince William acknowledged he is "not in a calm state" during his appearance at the Baftas last night, offering a rare glimpse into his emotional turmoil following his uncle's arrest.
The heir to the throne's candid admission about his mental state came as he made his first public outing since Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on Thursday.
According to insiders, William's comments reflected deep frustration over the unfolding crisis.
Police searches at Royal Lodge in Windsor are continuing today, with Andrew remaining on bail and currently residing at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate.

Sources told the Daily Mail that the Prince and Princess of Wales are increasingly putting distance between themselves and Andrew.
They told the publication: “William is frustrated because it’s still likely to be a problem on his plate when he eventually becomes King.
“I’m sure the Prince and Princess of Wales have been itching to say something publicly to distance themselves but they have to be cautious because of the police investigation.
“I think William and Catherine are acutely aware that this is a scandal that won’t be going away for a long time.
“It’s a mess left by Andrew and the late Queen and, although His Majesty is very much in charge, William is frustrated.”

The couple's foremost concern centres on the wellbeing of King Charles, who continues his battle against cancer amid the escalating family crisis.
A second source said: “Obviously, William is not feeling calm and he would have spoken on behalf of them both.
“It’s a terrible situation and they are very concerned about the health of the King and the impact this will be having on him. He is exhausted and it's draining for him.
“Also as parents of young children, to be reading all of this is pretty awful and they are clearly concerned.
“William let this slip out last during a conversation and he would have done that on purpose, that is very clear. But Catherine has kept very quiet.”

While William chose to reveal his emotional state, Catherine maintained her silence on the Andrew situation throughout the evening.
