King Charles is considering whether Prince George will have a role in the coronation, sources have claimed.
Prince William and Kate are thought to be “mulling over” how their eldest son, and heir to the throne, will play a role at the event.
Experts claim that the pair are considering the best for Prince George given the “attention he will inevitably get at an event covered by media across the world”.
His younger siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are expected to attend the coronation as spectators.

It comes as a royal expert said the nine-year-old will be a “focus” of the King’s upcoming coronation as part of the Palace’s efforts to draw attention to the line of success.
Dr Tessa Dunlop claimed that working members of the Royal Family are expected to appear in the procession with emphasis on King Charles, Prince William and Prince George.
“[They] want to keep it focused on that line of succession,” she told the Daily Mail.
“So we're going to see a lot of camera shots of Charles, of William, of George.”
Similarly, to the Queen’s coronation in June 1953, Dunlop explained that her heir was also placed in the spotlight.
King Charles is thought to want his coronation to set the tone for a streamlined and modern monarchy while retaining some ceremony and majesty similar to that during the Queen’s lying-in-state and funeral ceremonies.
The historic ceremony will take place on May 6 with Camilla's crowning before Charles is officially named as monarch when the St Edward's Crown is placed on his head by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
A procession will then lead the King to Buckingham Palace where he will join members of his family on to balcony.

King Charles and the Queen Consort will reportedly sit down with the Prince and Princess of Wales over the coming weeks to discuss George’s involvement.
The insider said: “It sends a nice signal and is quite a bold move.
“It is another example of the King and Queen Consort being unafraid to shake things up a bit to reflect the realities of modern life, of which a blended family is a central element.”
