The Royal Family's combined output climbed substantially in 2025, with the ten working royals recording a 22 per cent rise compared to the previous year.
Total engagements increased from 2,001 in 2024 to 2,458 over the past twelve months, according to Court Circular records.
This figure marks the highest annual total since 2022, when twelve working royals, including the late Queen, carried out 2,667 official duties.
The surge in activity came after a particularly challenging 2024, during which both the King and the Princess of Wales received cancer diagnoses.
