Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have also had their personal bios updated

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s profiles on the Royal Family’s website have received updates as the Princess of Wales continues to rest at her home in Windsor.

The Wales's royal bios received a fresh makeover earlier this week showing new photos and information.

The change comes as the princess continues to recuperate from abdominal surgery and is not expected to return to work until after Easter.

The Royal.UK website has profiles of all the senior members of the royal family explaining their life works and personal interests.

The biography of the Princess of Wales has a more up to date picture of her smiling at a meeting with the Windrush Cymru Elders which kicked off the start of Black History Month in Cardiss, Wales in October.

The Prince of Wales also has a new picture of him standing on stage during the Coronation Concert on the day that King Charles was crowned in May 2023.

Both royal profiles have been loaded with more information about the couple’s charity work which include personal statements about the reason they support certain causes.

The princess raises awareness about the importance of early childhood experiences and in 2021, she launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

A statement from Kate reads: “I have seen that experiences such as homelessness, addiction, and poor mental health are often grounded in a difficult childhood.

“But I have also seen, how positive protective factors in the early years can play a critical role in shaping our futures too.”

The royal website also has links to charities that are supported by the Royal Family like The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, The Royal Foundation and The Prince’s Trust.

The royal couple’s children have also had their personal bios changed on the website to include new pictures since their birthdays in 2023.

Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, have much shorter bios than their parents but have information about their birthplace and education.

As their first child, Prince George is second in line to the throne after his father, King Charles. Third in line to the throne is Princess Charlotte and fourth is Prince Louis.

The royal website has slowly been updated since the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022 to reflect the King’s reign.

This shift is not complete as one page explaining how to greet a member of the Royal Family still refers to the Queen as sovereign.

Buckingham Palace previously released a statement explaining that the process may take some time: “Following the death of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, content has been revisited and updated periodically. Some content may be out of date until this process is complete.”
