The snap taken in 2011 shows the royal couple beaming after their wedding.

The Prince and Princess of Wales's official X, formerly known as Twitter, account shared the image captioned the post: "13 years ago today!"

Photographer Millie Pilkington, who took the picture, commented: "Happy wedding anniversary! Can't believe it's been 13 years. Remember this moment so well. Sending you both much love in this special day."

Prince William and Kate married at Westminster Abbey on April 29 2011.

The couple have three children together, Prince George 10, Princess Charlotte eight and Prince Louis six.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News that Kate and William will mark this anniversary "very differently" compared to previous years.
