Social media has been fraught with rumours and wild conspiracy theories about Kate’s wellbeing

Princess Kate must make an ‘urgent’ appointment to water down an increasingly desperate PR situation, a royal author has claimed.

Angela Levin told GB News that Kensington Palace are already making moves to address the matter, but fears they may not be offering enough of an incentive to prospective candidates.

Social media has been fraught with rumours and wild conspiracy theories about Kate’s wellbeing and whereabouts as she continues to recover from abdominal surgery.

Asked by Martin Daubney if the royals will make moves to avoid a PR crisis in the future, Levin said ‘I’m sure they could’.

She added: “There’s an advert asking for a PR person who will pay attention to detail.

“Unfortunately, the amount offered is £25,000-a-year.

“I don’t expect they’re going to get a top notch person with that.

“I think they should consider that, because the PR that they need is very urgent and very important.”

The future Queen was spotted smiling alongside her husband this week during a visit to a farm shop in Windsor.

Her appearances in public have been scarce since her abdominal surgery but footage obtained by The Sun showed her in good spirits.

In the video the princess can be seen with her hair down, wearing a black jacket and leggings, chatting with William and carrying a large white bag.

The Windsor Farm Shop is a short drive from their Adelaide Cottage home in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Nelson Silva, who saw the royal couple, told TMZ: “I noticed a couple choosing loaves of bread and the woman turned her face and I felt like I had seen the face before. It was familiar.

“I went to my car and as they came out of the shop I just filmed them. I think they walked out through a gate out of the grounds. They just vanished and I didn’t see a car.

“Kate looked happy and relaxed. They look happy just to be able to go to a shop and mingle.

“Kate looked relieved, like it was a success going to a shop. It felt natural.”
