Princess Kate will make a “sincere effort” to continue to work while she recovers in hospital, according to a royal commentator.
Kate is currently resting at The London Clinic following an abdominal surgery last week and is not expected to return to formal royal duties until after Easter.
Kinsey Schofield, a royal commentator and host of the To Di For Daily podcast stated: “Any work Catherine does during recovery will be a sincere effort by the princess to stay invested and contribute to causes that she is passionate about.”
The princess supports causes and issues that she cares about including young people in society, mental health, and early childhood years.

Kate is expected to continue to “work from bed” as royal aides speak of her “unwavering commitment to duty,” but she will continue to put her family first.
Speaking to Daily Express US, Schofield commented on Kate’s family life stating: “The Princess of Wales is a mother to three young children. She is used to bouncing from school activities to errands to clocking in her hours for official royal duties.”
As Kate recovers in hospital, William is splitting his time between looking after their children and visiting Kate in hospital, putting off any royal engagements until after Kate returns home.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8 and Prince Louis, 5.
Kate works to support the youngest people in society.

According to a royal source, the children are central during Kate’s medical procedure with the royal couple taking the approach of “100 percent family first, day job second.”
According to The Times, a source stated: “The kids are always at the centre of their universe.
“That will continue to be the case. They want to make sure they have as much normality as possible going forwards.”
Royal author, Robert Hardman also told PEOPLE that “so much of what they [Kate and William] do with those kids is about normalising life and not making them feel like they are in a special gilded cage.”
