The King will be returning to royal duties after a short break to recover from cancer

GB News host Isabel Webster pointed out that Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton share some "similarities" when it comes to supporting their husbands.

Speaking on Breakfast Royal commentator Angela Levin said: "I wrote her [Camilla's] biography and she's got this very strong instinct of knowing what is right at the right moment.

"The fact that she could take all the nastiness when they separated from Diana, that now she knows exactly what King Charles needs.

"She's been there so solidly with the work and the engagements, when you saw the picture of their 19th wedding anniversary that came out yesterday, you can see that they are so interactive together.

"I think that feeling you are loved is just as important as having a pill."

Isabel pointed out: "I think there's a lot of similarities between the Queen and the Princess of Wales. I think they're both such great partners for the King and Prince William, just temperamentally as well.

"They're very good in the background at supporting the leading man, and they're sort of quite stoical and I can see why actually both of them have chosen those leading ladies."

Levin added: "Which has obviously helped William get on better with his father. Camilla helped Catherine know what to do when she joined the Royal Family, she knew what the protocol was and how to help her.

"Catherine was very grateful, unlike Meghan, who she tried to help as well and was not interested."

Levin also pointed out that it is unlikely that Prince Harry will reconcile with his family when he makes his return to the UK next week for the Invictus Games.

The royal biographer said: "He won't be going to see his father or brother. It's said that he won't be here for very long.

"Meghan is going to go straight to Africa because she met the Nigerian group and she likes that, so he'll be whizzing off.

"He won't see anybody, but he's no longer very popular. For the last couple of years I have had lots of emails from people saying, can't you stop it?

He recently lost a bid to appeal his case against the Home Office over police protection which left him without the automatic right to use the royal security services.

His claim for better protection was dismissed in February after years of legal wrangling.

Harry is said to remain committed to the Invictus Games and its participants after he founded the event in 2014 in partnership with the Ministry of Defence.

Some commentators have questioned whether Prince Harry will visit the Princess of Wales during his potential visit to the UK.
