Holly Ramsay has revealed she drew inspiration for her wedding dress from Princess Kate after she married Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty on Saturday.
The daughter of Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay exchanged vows with Mr Peaty at Bath Abbey and has revealed that the Princess of Wales and Grace Kelly were inspirations for her dress.
In a recent interview, she revealed the vision behind the gown and how Kate played a key role in her decision.
Ms Ramsay revealed: “The aisle at the abbey is 65 metres. It’s so grand and so beautiful… I knew I needed something long.

“I knew I wanted to wear something very traditional and quite modest, with lace. I’ve always loved Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton’s gowns: that beautiful high neckline, super feminine.
“It makes me feel very princess-like,” she told British Vogue.
The model donned an Elie Saab lace dress that she claimed was “an instant obsession,” as well as a lace veil, a shell-shaped Chanel minaudiere, and Amina Muaddi heels.
The pair's nuptials were marred by controversy, with a bitter family fallout on the Peaty side overshadowing events in the press.
Mr Peaty’s mother and father were noticeably absent from the ceremony due to tension within the family; only his sister, Bethany, attended the ceremony as a bridesmaid for Holly.
On New Year’s Eve, Caroline Peaty posted a series of cryptic messages on social media, which suggests she is struggling deeply with the family fallout.

One message she shared read: "I won't end this year pretending everything was fine. I lost a piece of myself this year that I will never get back, and I'm not forcing a smile like it didn't change me."
She continued: "I'll be praying that I recover next year, that my heart never has to break like this again... I'll be praying for peace... real peace, the kind that lets me breathe without fighting for it. I deserve a year that doesn't hurt."
The family dispute reportedly originated from a disagreement over a dress that Caroline had purchased for the occasion, which the couple did not approve of.

Prior to the ceremony, Caroline revealed she felt the couple had "cut out her heart" with the decision to exclude her from their special day.
Speaking to the Daily Mail on the eve of the wedding, Caroline expressed the depth of her anguish: "I don't think they understand how much they have hurt me; it's as if they have cut my heart out."
She also spoke of how the festive period had been marred by the dispute: "This is the first Christmas that I've not had my family together my family is broken.

Caroline had contemplated going to Bath Abbey to observe the ceremony from outside but ultimately chose not to, explaining it would be "too sad" and she did not wish to "spoil his big day".
