The prospect of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ever returning to royal duties has been rubbished by Lady Colin Campbell.
The royal commentator told GBN America that King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate have no interest in indulging the idea, despite the stretched nature of the slimmed down monarchy.
“My understanding is, not one of the four participants of whom we’ve been speaking have any interest whatsoever in ever interacting with Harry or Meghan in an official capacity ever again”, she said.
“Even if Charles were inclined and Camilla went along with it to have some form of private rapprochement with Harry, there is no way there will be an official role for Harry or Meghan.

“They understand that would be drinking poison from a chalice that they could well avoid drinking from.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to California after stepping back from official royal duties in 2020.

Harry appears to have extended olive branches to his father in recent months upon learning of his cancer diagnosis, with some reports suggesting he would even be willing to help the Firm out in a temporary capacity.
Lady C told Nana Akua that Meghan does not regret upping sticks despite the series of events that have transpired.
“I don’t think Meghan is capable of regret”, she said.
“Her personality type is not one that learns from mistakes. She blames everyone else for her errors.
“She has tried every trick in the book to keep her absolved of all responsibility.
“Meghan came into the Royal Family with the expectation that she would milk those udders and she would end up having a billionaire lifestyle.
“She now has that without the money and they are quickly running into serious problems financially, every deal collapses.”
Despite the couple’s departure from royal duties, Harry remains a prince and is fifth in line to the throne.
The couple moved to California in June 2020, saying they wanted space to raise Archie. Their second child, Lilibet, was born in 2021.
