Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has confirmed he is leaving Los Angeles after sharing a photograph from an airport terminal with the words “GOODBYE LA” on his Instagram story.
It comes at a sensitive moment for his wife, Princess Beatrice, as renewed scrutiny swirls around her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following the latest US document release linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi spent time in the US due to his international workload through his property and design business, Banda.
In December 2025, he posted from LA referencing “treasure hunting” and tagging Banda-related accounts.

Earlier this week, Mr Mapelli Mozzi reposted content from Banda featuring a photograph taken in Palm Beach, Florida, with tags including Acquavella Galleries.
While Mr Mapelli Mozzi has not publicly confirmed his destination, his family life is firmly rooted in the UK.
He lives with Princess Beatrice and their children, and they split their time between St James's Palace and the Cotswolds.
The couple welcomed their second daughter, Athena, in January 2025, and they also share a daughter, Sienna.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi is additionally the father of Christopher Woolf (Wolfie) from a previous relationship.
The timing of his return to the UK matters because the latest tranche of Epstein-related material has pushed Andrew back into global headlines and intensified pressure on the wider York family.
On January 30, the US Department of Justice said it had published 3.5 million responsive pages in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
The document dump has triggered a fresh cycle of claims and counterclaims about who knew Epstein and when.

GB News confirmed on Monday that Andrew has vacated Royal Lodge in Windsor following the latest revelations tied to Epstein.
In addition, Thames Valley Police has begun assessing a claim that a woman was sent to Andrew’s Windsor home by Epstein in 2010.
None of these developments involves allegations against Princess Beatrice or her husband.

While neither Beatrice nor her husband is implicated in any of the allegations, the renewed focus on Andrew places indirect pressure on his immediate family.
Beatrice has previously sought to maintain a low public profile while continuing her professional work and family life.
