US President Donald Trump will honour the late Queen Elizabeth II at her final resting place during his State Visit to Britain next week.
The President, who has previously expressed his deep respect for the former monarch, will visit St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle alongside First Lady Melania Trump.
Mr and Mrs Trump will arrive in the UK on Tuesday, September 16, for a three-day visit.
As part of their packed schedule, the President and First Lady will take part in a private wreath-laying ceremony at St Geroge’s Chapel on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 17.

While there, the couple will also be given a short tour of the site and will hear a musical performance from the chapel choir.
President Trump has long expressed his admiration for the Royal Family and Queen Elizabeth in particular.
Last year, the at-the-time President Elect was filmed tenderly leafing through a photo album including pictures from his 2019 State Visit which prompted some reminiscing.
“This is with Queen Elizabeth, who was fantastic, by the way,” Mr Trump said softly.

In 2022, Mr Trump reacted to the announcement of Queen Elizabeth’s death with an emotional statement.
In a Truth Social post, Mr Trump said he and his wife were: “Deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“Melania and I will always cherish our time together with the Queen, and never forget Her Majesty’s generous friendship, great wisdom, and wonderful sense of humour. What a grand and beautiful lady she was—there was nobody like her."
The US President and First Lady are scheduled to arrive in Britain on Tuesday evening, where they will be received by the American ambassador and Viscount Hood, who will extend the King's official welcome.

Wednesday morning will mark the formal commencement of state visit proceedings at Windsor Castle.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will receive the presidential couple in the castle grounds before escorting them to meet Their Majesties.
Traditional ceremonial honours will include a royal salute fired from both Windsor Castle's East Lawn and the Tower of London.
Military bands representing the Royal Marines, Army and RAF will also perform both nation's anthems.
King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate alongside the presidential couple will the lead a carriage procession through the Windsor estate grounds.

The afternoon schedule includes the Trumps' private chapel visit for the wreath-laying ceremony, followed by an aerial display featuring British and American F-35 fighter jets alongside the RAF's Red Arrows aerobatic team.
Wednesday evening will see Mr and Mrs Trump treated to a lush state banquet at Windsor Castle, centred around speeches from both the King and President Trump.
Other members of the Royal Family will attend the formal dinner alongside distinguished guests.
On Thursday, after an official farewell to Their Majesties at Windsor Castle, President Trump will travel to Chequers for a summit with Prime Minister Si Kier Star
Meanwhile, Mrs Trump will remain at the castle with Queen Camilla to view Queen Mary's Dolls' House and explore the Royal Library before joining Princess Kate at Frogmore Gardens.
