Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, have been very “easy to deal with” during their State Visit to the UK, according to a royal insider.
Earlier today, the US President bid a formal farewell to the King and Queen at Windsor Castle after they hosted his historic second State Visit.
Royal insiders have described the State Visit as an “awesome spectacle” and the Trumps as “very easy to deal with” throughout their time in the UK.
The source said: “It was very pleasing to see the way the state visit has been warmly received both by the guests and the media on both sides of the Atlantic.

“The visiting party was very easy to deal with and very appreciative of the hospitality.
“All elements of the pomp and pageantry created an awesome spectacle.

The couples posed together for pictures before King Charles and Donald Trump said a public farewell at the entrance of Windsor Castle.
The monarch and the President shook hands before Donald Trump headed to Chequers.
The president said during the farewell: “Thank you very much, everybody. He’s a great gentleman and a great King”.
The Trumps spent Wednesday night in the 1,000-year-old royal residence after the lavish State Banquet.
Despite attending the official parting of ways with the President, Melania stayed at Windsor Castle to undertake the private tour with Queen Camilla.

The First Lady then joined the Princess of Wales at Frogmore Gardens to meet the Chief Scout, Dwayne Fields, and members of the Scouts’ Squirrels programme as they learn about nature to achieve their ‘Go Wild’ badge.
Following the engagements, Melania Trump travelled to Chequers to join Donald Trump ahead of their departure from the UK.
At the conclusion of the visit, Lord Chamberlain will bid farewell to the Trumps on behalf of King Charles before they head back to the US.
