Dara Huang has issued a message to "single mums" amid her blended family with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice.

The post accompanied a photograph of Huang with her friend, Bella Koenig, who got married in Tuscany.

The American architect posted on Instagram: "Single moms rock! Here's one for all the single moms out there."

She continued: "There's always going to be a wonderful man who will love your baby as much as you do and will take responsibility for all of your lives together as a blended family. Proof to never give up on love!"

Huang was previously engaged to Edoardo before he married the Princess of York in 2020. The former couple continue to co-parent their nine-year-old son, Wolfie Mapelli Mozzi.

They dated from 2015 to 2018 and welcomed their son, Christopher 'Wolfie' Woolf, in 2016. The wedding comes after Huang split from Spanish investor Filippos Kodellas de la Morena.

The investor is now engaged to Sofía Marti Marti, a businesswoman and dentist. The pair are expected to tie the knot this summer.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo made their public debut together at the Portrait Gala in March 2019 before getting married in July 2020.

Beatrice and Edoardo welcomed their daughter Sienna in September 2021. In January this year, Beatrice and Edoardo welcomed a baby girl, Athena, who was born prematurely.

Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi was born on January 22 at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Edoardo, Beatrice, and Huang all remain on excellent terms, with Wolfie frequently splitting his time between London with his mother and the Cotswolds with his father and stepmother.

The respect between the families is clearly mutual, as Wolfie was included in Buckingham Palace's official announcement when Princess Beatrice was expecting last year.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, Huang said of co-parenting her son: "Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, 'The more, the merrier.'"

She added: "I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him, because it didn't have to be so easy."

Huang emphasised her philosophy on co-parenting: "It's all about your point of view. I don't understand people who are divorced and then hold their children as collateral; that doesn't make any sense. It's about creating a happy home and lifestyle."

Beatrice calls herself a "bonus mum" to Wolfie, considering it a "great honour" to be in his life.
