Princess Eugenie has made a new job announcement after joining forces with King Charles last week.

Eugenie has been announced as Global Ambassador for Thirty Six For Coral, the world's first international art exhibition and auction dedicated to coral reef conservation.

The initiative is part of the Coral Collective, a global movement driving action to protect coral reefs from extinction.

HRH Princess Eugenie said: "Despite occupying less than one per cent of the seabed, coral reefs support 25 per cent of all life in the ocean, and one billion people around the world depend on coral reefs for food and jobs."

This new ambassador role for Eugenie comes after the Princess of York was announced as a mentor for the King's Foundation's newly launched "35 under 35 network," a role that supports her uncle, King Charles's charity.

She said in a video posted on Instagram: "Hi, everyone. It is such an honour to be here today at the Garrison Chapel celebrating the King's Foundation and its 35 years.

"I am supporting the 35 under 35 program, which is mentoring 35 people.

"It's my 35 years, and it's such a great thing to honour His Majesty's celebration of traditional arts, nature, sustainability. And I'm very proud to be here."

The Thirty Six For Coral exhibition aims to raise essential funding for coral preservation through the ocean charity Project Zero.

The exhibition features 36 artworks by renowned artists, including Rocco Ritchie, Jemima Kirke, Vik Muniz, OSGEMEOS, Marc Quinn, RETNA, Dustin Yellin, Charlotte Colbert, and Walton Ford.

The landmark exhibition will run from June 12 to 20 at the iconic Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera.

Notable British contributions include "The Coral Lobster" by Philip Colbert, "Ghost Reef" by London-based artist Shezad Dawood, and works by Rob and Nick Carter.

The exhibition opens with an invitation-only cocktail reception on June 12, followed by public viewings of works that blend artistic brilliance with urgent environmental storytelling.

The event is timed to coincide with the 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference in nearby Nice, running from June 9 to 13.

The exhibition has garnered support from numerous high-profile figures, including Sienna Miller, Will Poulter, Cara Delevingne, Rita Ora, Georgia Fowler, and Slash, who serve as Global Ambassadors alongside Princess Eugenie.

Princess Eugenie emphasised the critical importance of coral reefs, stating: "I'm pleased to be supporting Thirty Six for Coral, an important art exhibition that will help connect more people to the irreplaceable value of coral reefs, and raise essential funding to help protect and restore them for future generations."
