Amanda Holden has revealed she has been "steered away" from using a specific word around Prince William ahead of their joint engagement this week.
The Prince of Wales will travel to Cornwall's Isles of Scilly this Friday to officially inaugurate a new hospital wing, with Heart Radio broadcasting live from the occasion.
The future King's visit on May 22 will see him cut the ribbon on expanded medical facilities at St Mary's, aimed at enhancing healthcare provision for island residents.
Breakfast Show presenters Ms Holden and Jamie Theakston, both 55, will accompany the royal for the special programme.

Ahead of the encounter, the presenting duo sought advice from etiquette expert William Hanson in the studio regarding royal protocol.
Mr Theakston asked whether "His Royal Highness" followed by "Sir" would be appropriate, with Mr Hanson confirming this was correct.
However, Ms Holden revealed they had received alternative instructions: "But then we've been steered away from Sir, he doesn't want to be called Sir."
Mr Hanson explained that if William invites guests to use his first name, that becomes perfectly acceptable.

The Britain's Got Talent judge characterised William as "a relaxed, unassuming person, who is up for a laugh."
She also disclosed they had been advised to remain "very chilled and relaxed" throughout the visit.
When asked about her outfit plans, Ms Holden indicated she would dress casually, given the coastal setting, potentially opting for trainers rather than heels.
The presenter declared her intention to get the prince into the kitchen, joking: "I might need to have a pinny, all kinds of things are going through my head. The poor man doesn't know what he's let himself in for."

William's relaxed approach to formality is well documented.
During a 2020 appearance on That Peter Crouch Podcast, he quipped "Your Royal Highness will do" when asked how to address him, before laughing and clarifying: "Just to clarify, it's William. I'm joking."
The Prince of Wales extended a personal invitation to Ms Holden and Mr Theakston through a pre-recorded message aired on Tuesday's show.
In his video message, William told the presenters: "Hi Jamie and Amanda, I'm heading down to the Isles of Scilly, off the coast of Cornwall, on Friday, to see some of the terrific work going on there to support the local community."
He continued: "I'm also opening the new wing of the hospital in St Mary's, which will be a fantastic moment."
The prince made particular reference to Ms Holden's well-known affection for the Cornish coastline, noting it would be "really lovely" if both hosts could attend.
He signed off warmly, expressing his anticipation for Friday's meeting and wishing the pair a good morning.
