Meghan Markle’s new Netflix trailer was overshadowed by a major announcement from pop star Taylor Swift, according to a source.
Last week, the Duchess of Sussex released the official trailer for the second season of her Netflix programme, With Love, Meghan.
However, it coincided with Taylor Swift releasing details of her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, on her boyfriend’s podcast.
A source has claimed that Meghan thought her Netflix announcement would dominate the news agenda but was instead completely overshadowed by Taylor Swift’s disclosure on Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.

The source said: "Meghan thought her trailer would own the news cycle. Then Taylor’s announcement came in like a wrecking ball.
They added that the Duchess of Sussex “saw this as her comeback moment” and was left disappointed by its reception.
During the podcast appearance, Taylor Swift revealed her boyfriend’s brother, Jason Kelce, faced a dilemma when meeting Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The popstar met the royals alongside Travis Kelce, and Jason Kelce in 2024.

The couple discussed meeting the royals during an episode of the New Heights podcast.

Taylor Swift replied: "Yeah, or is it authentic by having the beer?"
