The Princess Royal is celebrating her 75th birthday today, and throughout this week, the Royal Family has made multiple social media posts to mark the occasion.
The King’s sister will spend her birthday sailing around the Western Isles of Scotland with her husband, Sir Tim Laurence.
The Royal Family’s official social media account, which represents King Charles and Queen Camilla, issued a birthday message from the monarch in recognition of Princess Anne.

The social media post read: “75 today! Thank you for all of your kind birthday wishes for The Princess this week.”
They also posted a picture of the Princess Royal taken by photographer John Swannell.
Mr Swannell is known to be Princess Anne’s favoured photographer.
On Thursday evening, Buckingham Palace released a new portrait of the Princess Royal to mark her 75th birthday, which was also taken by Mr Swannell.
He also photographed the Princess Royal on her 40th, 50th and 60th birthdays.
The Royal Family also shared a photograph of the Princess Royal to mark the milestone.

On Wednesday, Buckingham Palace was forced to delete a post relating to Princess Anne’s milestone birthday after a glaring error was spotted.
They released a list of 75 facts about King Charles’s sister in a social media post.
However, one of the facts listed triggered confusion online as royal fans quickly spotted it.
Buckingham Palace subsequently removed the whole post from its social media channels, which linked to the 75 facts on the Royal Family website.
The error that sparked confusion was the 14th fact on the list, which stated that the Princess Royal has two stepchildren from her second marriage to her current husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.
The princess married Sir Tim, a retired Royal Navy officer, in December 1992.

The post went on to list the names of the alleged stepchildren as Tom and Amy Laurence.
Buckingham Palace has now removed the page from the official Royal Family website.
The Princess Royal has two children from her first marriage to Captain Mark Phillips, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips.
The princess married Sir Tim, a retired Royal Navy officer, in December 1992.
Sir Tim had not been previously married, and no children from a previous marriage or relationship were ever mentioned.
