The presidential hopeful made his rallying cry in response to a ‘fake news’ article

Robert F Kennedy Jr has issued a stern warning to US public health agencies over Covid vaccines as the race for the White House begins to heat up.

Kennedy Jr, 70, is running as an independent candidate in this year’s presidential election and took to social media to make the campaign promise – the latest pronouncement in a line of what critics have described as “anti-vaccine disinformation”.

He said: “As President, I will clean up the cesspool of corruption at CDC and force the public health agencies to come clean about Covid vaccines.

“I’ll hold responsible those who lied or concealed critical health information, including the crooked individual who ordered the destruction of this myocarditis data.”

In a later post, Kennedy Jr said: “It’s hard to comprehend the Orwellian, dystopian nightmare into which the western world is now plummeting.

“I have long said these ‘pharmaceutical companies’ are more like transnational rogue governments.

“Imagine not being allowed to speak ill of a corporation even when they kill your family members!”

Kennedy Jr’s initial post came in response to a screenshot of an article from the People’s Voice - which has often been criticised as 'fake news' - by Baxter Dmitry, titled “CDC Redacts Every Single Word of 148-Page Study on Myocarditis After Covid Vaccination”.

The People's Voice

The article includes claims about ‘Big Pharma’ made by Mary Holland, president of Children’s Health Defense, a vaccine activist group largely known for spreading vaccine misinformation – whose chairman is none other than Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The People’s Voice, previously known as Your News Wire, was the centre of a Times investigation into fake news in 2017 in which former US intelligence officer and Russian propaganda expert Joel Harding said it was “used by the Russians as a proxy site to spread disinformation”.

The Times found that Baxter Dmitry – whose articles across a litany of fake news pages have been debunked for various inaccuracies – had stolen the identity of a Latvian computer programmer to publish on the website.

The site has been blacklisted by the EU’s StratCom Task Force, a unit which counters Russian propaganda – who said it published “fake media stories that support Russia’s policies”.

The article contained an interview with the People’s Voice’s head, Sean Adl-Tabatabai, who defended his outlet by saying: “We don’t produce ‘fake news’… What this all really seems to be about is an attempt by certain mainstream publications to conflate independent news organisations such as ours (and many others) with the small handful of genuinely fake news sites mostly run from Macedonia.”

At the time, Joel Harding said: “YourNewsWire.com is one of the biggest… [Adl-Tabatabai] is prolific. He really is very good, in that he produces a lot of high-volume stories that are actually picked up by a lot of others, cited and referenced.”

Adl-Tabatabai decried claims of Russian links as “completely baseless”, and has defended claims made on his site about the ‘Pizzagate’ conspiracy theory, which alleged prominent US politicians were running a child sex trafficking ring in the basement of a Washington DC pizza restaurant.

Both Adl-Tabatabai and Dmitry continue to produce articles for the site today, which in the last three days alone has alleged the Rothschild family knew about the Covid-19 pandemic in 2015, and used AI-generated images to claim Michelle Obama “became physically violent” and “overpowered” Barack Obama during a campaign meeting.
