The First Lady gave her interpretation of her husband's iconic dance

Melania Trump has joined her husband Donald in his signature Y.M.C.A. dance during the US President's 4th of July celebrations.

The First Lady marked America's 249th Independence Day by joining the Potus in performing his signature dance on the White House balcony on Friday evening.

The couple's synchronised movements came as the President signed his sweeping "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" into law.

The distinctive dance, which has become synonymous with Trump's public appearances, involves rhythmic air punches combined with hip swaying.

The performance often accompanies songs from Trump's campaign rallies, including in this case Y.M.C.A by the Village People.

Whilst the President demonstrated his characteristic moves on Friday evening, Melania Trump created her own interpretation of the dance.

She waved her open palms up and down whilst bouncing on her feet, as her husband looked on with apparent admiration.

The synchronised performance represented a rare public display of the couple dancing together during an official celebration at their residence.

The bill included flagstone parts of the Republican's agenda including tax cuts, spending boosts for defence and the immigration crackdown.
