Jeremy Corbyn's new party has descended into chaos over its membership system as co-founder Zarah Sultana claimed she has been subjected to a "sexist boys club".
Just shy of three months since former Labour leader Mr Corbyn announced the launch of the temporarily named 'Your Party', the new political group has hit a new bump in the road.
This morning, an email was sent to supporters of the yet unnamed party announcing the launch of its "membership portal".
It read: "Today is the day. Our membership portal is now open.
"For too long, Britain’s politics has been run in the interests of the rich and powerful.
"From Ayr to Aberystwyth, our new party is about changing that – taking power back for working people, communities and future generations.
"Joining isn’t just about signing up. It means taking part in a founding process that is genuinely democratic and member-led.
"This is your chance to help build something new. A party that belongs to its members, not the establishment."

The email included a link to a portal offering "regular" memberships for £5 per month, £55 per year, or concessionary memberships at a cost of £2.50 each month or £25 a year.
Ms Sultana then posted to X, directing people to the same web page, adding: "We said this was your party — and we meant it.
"We have just launched our membership."
This afternoon, however, Mr Corbyn sent out an "urgent message" urging supporters to ignore the email, which was signed by the Independent Alliance MPs - but not Ms Sultana.

The Islington North MP advised people to cancel any direct debits that had been set up, adding that "legal advice" was being taken.
The message read: "This morning, an unauthorised email was sent to all yourparty.uk supporters with details of a supposed membership portal hosted in a new domain name.
"Legal advice is being taken. That email should be ignored by all supporters. If any direct debits have been set up, they should be immediately cancelled.
"The agreed process was announced on August 1: the Independent Alliance Group of MPs – Jeremy Corbyn, Zarah Sultana, Iqbal Mohamed, Adnan Hussain, Shockat Adam and Ayoub Khan – are stewarding and accountable for the foundation process for the new party, leading to an inaugural democratic conference in the Autumn.
"Earlier this week, we shared new details about the roadmap to the launch, including our plans for mass regional assemblies and our founding conference.
"Soon, you will be able to turn your support into membership at yourparty.uk, and shape the future of our party and our country."
The letter was signed by Mr Corbyn, Ayoub Khan, Adnan Hussain, Iqbal Mohamed and Shockat Adam.
Shortly after, Ms Sultana put out a statement saying she had been "effectively frozen out" and subjected to a "sexist boys club".

The Coventry South MP wrote: "I want to clarify the situation regarding the membership system for Your Party.
"Neither of this week’s emails had the dual authorisation of both myself and Jeremy - which was the agreement made at the start of this process.
"After being sidelined by the MPs named in today’s statement and effectively frozen out of the official accounts, I took the step of launching a membership portal so that supporters could continue to engage and organise.
"This was in line with the roadmap set out to members on Monday and is a safe, secure, legitimate portal for the party. Everyone who supports us should sign up now.

"My sole motivation has been to safeguard the grassroots involvement that is essential to building this party.
"Unfortunately, I have been subjected to what can only be described as a sexist boys’ club:
"I have been treated appallingly and excluded completely. They have refused to allow any other women with voting rights on the Working Group, blocking the gender-balanced committee that both Jeremy and I signed up to."
She went on to call on Mr Corbyn to meet with her and "agree to make public all agreed structures, processes and decision-making protocols".
"Doing this will restore hope for our members, and ensure nothing like this can ever happen again, the statement added.
"This party is more important than any one person, and we all owe it to the movement to deliver a truly democratic and socialist party.
"The democratic founding conference of this party will take place in late November.
"I will keep fighting for a minimum programme for maximum democracy, you have my word. No stitch-ups, no coronations: the members must decide."
Reform UK's Head of Policy, Zia Yusuf, said building a new, insurgent party can "attract people who are highly disagreeable personality types" in response to the public spat between the Your Party founders.
He wrote to X: "Jokes aside, the YourParty meltdown and catastrophic failure to launch lays bare just how hard it is to build a new, insurgent party.
"They inherently initially attract people who are highly disagreeable personality types, and egos quickly overwhelm any sense of purpose.
"Not the case at Reform, who despite by no means being perfect, have run rings around the two old parties, breaking their century-long duopoly."
