Reform UK’s commitment to mass deportations should terrify not just Labour, but every political party in Britain, according to Steve Bannon.
The former White House Chief Strategist told GB News that Mr Farage is seen as a “man of action” and Britons know he would stand by his convictions were he to win the keys to No.10.
The insurgent party recently announced it will enact mass deportations if it wins the general election.
Delivering his analysis, Mr Bannon told GB News: “Nigel has come a moral way. He’s been doing this for a long time.

“He’s finally come to this conclusion of something he has said for years ‘we don’t need to go to this’.
“When he says ‘we should do mass deportations’, people should take that like a papal bull.

“That is a guy that has built something from nothing. Understands the politics and also understands the psychology of the British voter, what they’re prepared to take in at any one period of time.
“When he comes to that conclusion, to me, that is a red warning light that people should understand that even people from the centre are going to policies that are seen as extreme.

“They’re seeing what’s going on. They’re coming to the conclusion that this should happen.”
Mr Bannon cited President Trump’s successful election campaign and explained how mass deportations being a key message contributed to his victory.
“When you think about mass deportations and the logistics in the Big Beautiful Bill, the British people would be shocked by this, it’s $170 billion just allocated to the logistics of sealing the border, and the logistics of building up the network to do the mass deportations”, he said.
Reform UK announced plans to deport 600,000 migrants over five years if it won power at the election.
Nigel Farage recently set out ambitious plans to deport hundreds of thousands of migrants
| X / NIGEL FARAGELeader Mr Farage said in August his party would bar anyone who comes to the UK on small boats from claiming asylum.
The party says it would make £2bn available to offer payments or aid to countries like Afghanistan to take back migrants.
Mr Farage even suggested the party would be willing to work with the Taliban to ensure Afghans are returned.
Labour has branded the suggestions unworkable, while Kemi Badenoch and the Conservatives have taken pleasure in suggesting they have stolen the plans from a Tory playbook.
Reform launched the plan and dubbed it Operation Restoring Justice, with Mr Farage saying “the only way” to stop small boats crossing the English Channel was by “detaining and deporting absolutely anyone who comes via that route”.
“If we do that, the boats will stop coming in days because there will be no incentive”, he added.
