Reform UK MP Richard Tice has claimed Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is "terrified" of his party's surge in popularity, after new polling placed Nigel Farage's force ahead of Labour.
In the latest YouGov poll, the Conservative Party plummeted to fourth place, marking their worst performance in six years.
Reform UK has continued its remarkable surge, rising to 29 per cent of support, while Labour remains steady at 22 per cent.
The Prime Minister is said to have told MPs in a private meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party that "Reform is our main rival for power".

Speaking to GB News, Richard Tice told host Martin Daubney that Keir Starmer looks increasingly "anxious" in the House of Commons, looking over to Reform UK's bench more than ever before.
Tice revealed: "Of course Starmer's panicking, he's terrified. It's quite funny, in the Commons now he looks at Nigel and I as much as he looks at Kemi.
"He looks really anxious, he looks like he's thinking 'what are we doing? Why are we laughing? What are we saying?'"
Highlighting his party's major electoral victory in the local elections, Tice claimed that Reform got "more than as many votes" as Starmer's Labour candidates.

GETTYTice stated: "We don't mind scrutiny at all, and I'm afraid that's the nature of politics. But look, the reality is we've got the mandate.
"We've just won by huge numbers in the local elections, the mayoral elections. I think we've got more than twice as many votes as were cast for Labour."
Noting the continued work of Reform following their victories, Tice told GB News that they are "really starting to deliver" on making changes in local councils that they now run.
Tice said: "He's [Keir Starmer] right to say we are effectively the real opposition, and so we don't mind scrutiny. We've got nothing to be afraid of.

"We've got to deliver on the running the councils, and I think we'll deliver really well. Already we're discovering great savings and stopping unnecessary capital projects in just a matter of weeks, so we're already starting to deliver."
The YouGov survey represents the first time in six years that a major poll has predicted such a poor showing for the Conservatives.
The Liberal Democrats have also overtaken the Conservatives with 17 per cent of support, compared to the Tories' 16 per cent.
According to Electoral Calculus projections, if these poll numbers were replicated in a general election, the consequences would be seismic for British politics, with the Conservatives could be reduced to just 17 seats in Parliament.
