Donald Trump was left visibly startled today after a heckler stormed his address to the Israeli Parliament.
As the US President spoke about his proposed peace treaty, a protester suddenly rushed forward before being swiftly intercepted by security.

It is unclear what the protester said, but he was swiftly removed.

Other members of the Parliament clapped overtop of the protester to hide the interruption.
The man who interrupted has now been identified as Ofer Cassif, a 60-year-old left wing politician.
Ayman Odeh, 50, another Knesset member from the same Hadash alliance political group, was also removed from the chamber.
Donald Trump was speaking to the Knesset, after calls for him to receive a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to broker a ceasefire in the Middle East war.
Discussing the the first stage of the agreement which is now in effect President Trump said that “after so many years of unceasing war and endless danger, today the skies are calm, the guns are silent and the sirens are still."
He added: “This is not only the end of a war, this is the end of an age of terror and death and the beginning of the age of faith and hope, and of God.

“It’s the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region.”
He added the region is now "at peace".
Describing the October 7 Hamas attack, he said “thousands of innocent Israeli civilians were attacked by terrorists” in one of the “most evil and heinous desecrations of innocent life the world has ever seen”.
He called it "the worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust".

“The cruelty of October 7 struck to the core of humanity itself,” he said.
“The United States of America grieved alongside you, and we mourn for our own citizens who were so viciously taken that day.
"To all the families whose lives were forever changed by the atrocities of that day and all of the people of Israel, please know that America joins you in those two everlasting vows, never forget and never again.”
