Reform UK has unveiled controversial proposals to enable large-scale removals of asylum seekers, cautioning that Britain faces imminent social unrest without immediate action

Sue Reid has said that Germany has already begun implementing deportation measures similar to those proposed by Reform UK as she issued a stern warning to Nigel Farage.

Her comments come as Mr Farage has unveiled controversial proposals to enable large-scale removals of asylum seekers, cautioning that Britain faces imminent social unrest without immediate action.

Speaking about the measures on GB News, the special investigations' editor at the Daily Mail said: "Of course, over the last couple of days, we’ve really been dissecting this here because there has been a lot of criticism in the media saying this plan is a farce and won’t get through.

"People were saying it wouldn’t get through the courts we’ve heard it left, right, and centre. But Germany is doing this now.

"Germany is interesting because, of course, they helped create some of the problems we’re facing today.

"They let in millions of people early on, and it went wrong very quickly.

"Within three months, there were the Cologne mass rapes at the very Christian Cologne Cathedral, which critics say was deliberately chosen.

"It’s a beautiful place; I’ve seen it. After that, the German attitude changed, and they’ve been building up to this approach slowly.

"Nigel Farage has to be aware of this, and I think he is, for various reasons. Germany is facing massive red tape.

"One thing they’ve done this week is say that asylum seekers whose claims fail will no longer have access to a state-paid lawyer. They can still appeal, but the state won’t pay.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

"The legal system in Germany, like here, is complex immigration lawyers are abundant and well-paid, and every excuse is used to delay deportation."

During a Tuesday press briefing, Nigel Farage declared that withdrawing from the European Convention on Human Rights and abolishing the Human Rights Act would be essential steps.

"We are not far away from major civil disorder," Mr Farage warned, describing current arrivals as "an invasion, as these young men illegally break into our country."

The party's blueprint involves revoking multiple international agreements that currently prevent forced removals.

Reform UK claims these legislative changes would permit the expulsion of 600,000 asylum seekers, encompassing families with children, should they secure power at the next general election.

Reform's deputy leader Richard Tice has emphasised that the party would pursue all available options to execute deportations, including diplomatic engagement with current Afghan authorities.

"We will do whatever is necessary to protect the safety and security of British citizens," Mr Tice declared, stating that defending borders and sovereignty remains their primary obligation.
