The ex-No10 aide also warned Kemi Badenoch will 'probably' be ousted at some point this year

Ex-Vote Leave mastermind Dominic Cummings has predicted Nigel Farage could become Prime Minister but insists the Reform UK leader must listen to his advice if he wants to win the keys to No10.

Cummings, 53, who met with Farage to discuss the inner workings of Whitehall last year, claimed the Clacton MP needs to bring talented figures into Reform’s fold to defeat Sir Keir Starmer.

Asked if Farage could become Prime Minister, Cummings told Sky News: "It could definitely happen now, yeah, because the old system's just so completely broken.

"If he does what I'm suggesting, and actually sets out a path for how Reform is going to change, how Reform is going to bring in people, how it's structurally going to alter, what it's going to build, how it is going to do policy, how it can recruit MPs, etc.

"If he does that, then there'll be a huge surge of interest and support into the whole thing."

Cummings was credited with leading Boris Johnson's 2019 landslide victory, Vote Leave's 2016 "Take Back Control" slogan and the 2004 North East Says No campaign.

He added: "Reform has been a one-man band. It's been Nigel and an iPhone.

"They can win 50, 100, 150 seats with Reform as Nigel and an iPhone.

"But they can't win an overall general election and have a plan for government and have a serious team able to take over in Downing Street and govern and control Whitehall with one man and an iPhone."

Reform UK won just five seats in the 2024 General Election after receiving 14.4 per cent of the vote.

However, the populist party now looks poised to flip hundreds of seats as its support heads towards 30 per cent.

Farage was already left smiling on May 1 after Reform gained Runcorn & Helsby and hoovered up 677 seats in the 2025 Local Elections.

Despite Farage leading Reform's crusade, Cummings suggested the populist party's appeal exceeds support for the Clacton MP.

Cummings, who last year dismissed Reform as being unserious before throwing his weight behind Farage earlier this year, said: "It's not exactly correlated with what people think about Nigel himself.

"Reform is a vehicle for people to say: 'We despise you, Westminster. We hate both the old parties, we hate Whitehall, we hate the old media, we hate the whole f**king lot of you.'

"And Farage going up in the polls is the expression of that core feeling."

Concluding his interview with Sky News, Cummings issued a major warning to Tory leader Kemi Badenoch.

"Kemi is going to go probably this year," he said.

"There's already people who are organising to get rid of her, and I think that that will work. If it doesn't work this year, it will definitely happen after next May.

"She's a goner, so there's going to be a big transition there".
