Lee Anderson did not hold back on GB News when asked about Sir Keir Starmer’s plan to ‘smash the gangs’.
In a furious rant, the Reform UK MP told Patrick Christys that the new government are offering no deterrent while branding the Labour leader a “disgrace”.
“The people smugglers in France must be quaking in their boots at the sight of Keir Starmer and the front bench”, he sarcastically remarked.
“It’s ridiculous. Absolute nonsense. The Rwanda plan was bad enough. These people are going to come in their thousands over the summer.

GB News host Patrick Christys raised Labour’s plan to stop the use of hotels for asylum seekers, which he says “begs the question” as to whether the Government is planning to house those entering the country illegally with its radical development plans.
The Reform UK MP responded: “Listen, Patrick. You’re a newly married man, you have probably got a couple of bedrooms spare in your house or apartment.
“The good news is, you could put some of these migrants up in your house.

“We are seeing camps being set up in parks in cities across the country. It is frightening and scary.
“We do not know who we are allowing in this country at the moment, it is absolutely shocking.
“The Tories were bad enough, but Labour are going to open the borders and let everyone in.”
Anderson also used his GB News interview to hit out at the Tories, saying the five Reform MPs in Parliament will serve as a more effective opposition in the years to come.
The party stood on a ticket that promised to tackle the migrant crisis head on with a pledge to reach net zero immigration.
“There are five of us, we have more influence and more fight and more heart in our bodies than those in opposition”, he said.
“It’s ridiculous. For the past three or four years I have been banging on about this, and finally people are waking up.
“We have only been here a week, we have 4.1 million people behind us. We are going to march forward and represent the silent majority in our country. You better watch out.”
Speaking on Keir Starmer’s bid to tackle the issue, the Home Office said: “Everyone wants to see an end to the dangerous small boat crossings. They are undermining our border security and putting lives at risk.
“We are taking action to smash the people smuggling gangs responsible for this trade, establishing a new Border Security Command to bring together our intelligence and enforcement agencies, equipped with new counter-terror-style powers and hundreds of personnel stationed in the UK and overseas.
“Our staff continue with their dedicated mission to save lives in the Channel whilst working with our French and other international partners to ensure the criminals responsible face the full extent of the law.”
