'Labour politicians are turning a blind eye to this crisis,' the Centre for Migration Control's Rob Bates fumed in response

A Labour MP has claimed that "degenerate native men" are the "biggest threat to women" - after a series of reports came to light revealing the scale of crimes committed by foreigners in Britain.

Cat Eccles, the MP for Stourbridge, had made the claim after accusing Reform UK leader Nigel Farage of lying about the Epping High Court ruling.

"Lies, lies and more damn lies. How is he allowed to spread this nonsense?" she blasted.

Then, Ms Eccles hit back at a series of social media users who replied to her post - making her "degenerate natives" claim in the process.

"You betray your own girls to be raped by degenerates. Shame on you," one said.

She replied: "Degenerate native men are the biggest threat to women."

Another asked: "Why do you love migrant rapists more than UK citizens?"

Ms Eccles said in response: "Why do you think all migrants are rapists when the biggest threat to women and girls in over 90 per cent of cases is native men?"

She went on to add: "It's cute how excited the native men have gotten over me using their own language back at them," before apparently deleting the post.

Robert Bates, research director at the Centre for Migration Control (CMC), issued a dire warning over her remarks to GB News in response.

"This is an incredibly reckless comment that is based on nothing more than Eccles's own prejudices and dogma," Mr Bates said.

"We know that, on a per capita basis, foreign nationals are far more likely to be convicted of sexual offences than Britons, with some nationalities up to 20 times more likely.

"Labour politicians are turning a blind eye to this crisis, just like they did with the grooming gangs, and it is women and children who are suffering as a result.

"Meaningful change will not be possible until the Government and its backbenchers face up to the cold hard facts, no matter how uncomfortable they may find them."

The CMC had brought damning Ministry of Justice figures to light just days ago.

It found that sex crimes by foreign nationals skyrocketed by 62 per cent in just four years - while foreign nationals account for one-in-seven sexual offence convictions last year, including rapes.

The rate of increase between 2021 and 2024 was found to be significantly higher than for British nationals, whose sexual offence convictions rose by 39.3 per cent over the same period.

Further data obtained by MP Rupert Lowe's Rape Gang Inquiry revealed that one in five child sex offence convictions involve foreign nationals.

According to the Office for National Statistics, 9 per cent of the total population is foreign.

Lee Anderson, Reform UK's chief whip, added: "Cat Eccles completely misses the point.

"Her Government should not be importing foreign criminals who pose a risk to women and children in this country.

"Her absurd deflection shows that she doesn't have a clue or care about the concerns of ordinary Brits."

Responding to the CMC's findings last week, a Government spokesman said: "Any foreign national who commits these kind of sexual offences in our country will face the full force of the law, and be deported at the earliest opportunity.

"And thanks to the reforms in our border security bill, any asylum claims they make will also be denied.

"This Government has already removed almost 5,200 foreign national offenders in its first year in office, a 14 per cent increase on the previous 12 months, and we will continue to crack down on any foreign nationals who come to this country and break our rules."

GB News has approached the Labour Party for comment.
