Asked by Ray to give their verdict on the Labour leader, another Republican admitted: “I don’t know”, in a blunt three-word response.
Another Trump-backer admitted he was none the wiser when it comes to Starmer’s policies, but was familiar with the Labour Party.
He told Ray: “I have to admit, I know he is from the Labour Party and they are more like the Democrats.

“I don’t know much about that to this point. I am a little ignorant at this point.”
The individual’s friend, who was stood by his side, waded in on the discussion to hit out at the Tories after their crushing defeat to Starmer in the election.
“The Conservatives didn’t do much”, she said.
“Brits want change and they deserve change.”
One American said Sadiq Khan needs to 'shut up'

Another American offered a scathing analysis of Starmer’s fellow Labour leader Sadiq Khan, saying the London Mayor “should have shut up a long time ago”.
“He kept sticking his nose in on Trump business, he should have shut up a long time ago”, he said.
“He is mayor of one of the biggest cities around and he isn’t very diplomatic.”
Another American skimmed over the Starmer probe, and instead chose to focus on the special relationship’s future.
Sadiq Khan was the subject of a brutal rant

“They are great warriors and we support them, they have our six and we’ve got their six.”
Another Republican was more optimistic about Keir Starmer, saying he “follows closely” the goings on in Britain and he is confident Trump will not adopt an isolationist stance, which can only be good news for the UK.
“We have to have better trade balances”, he said.
“Both countries are evolving and we need to evolve together. It’s really important we don’t stand by ourselves.
“If I was running one of the two countries, I would yearn for one of these types of relationships.
“I think Starmer is going to be great.”
